I'm still painting flowers for you...

Hello Wednesday... {the most unrecognized day of the week} 
I think you are great. 
You are the middle of the long week.
You are trash day.
Ordinarily I would despise you but today along my stroll to the trash can I spotted these beauties :) 
So thank you dear Wednesday. 


I love my sweet roses.
I love to water them.
smell them.
photograph them.
& gaze at their beauty.

I can't stop pondering the question, "What am I thankful for?"
I know I am thankful for nature & all it's beauty...
I'll be sure to make a more concrete list soon :)

My Paper Heart

One year...{translation please?}

• 24 months
• 52 weeks
• 365 days
• 8,765 hours...

I guess these work for those who are "number-istic"... Sadly, i've never been a big fan of numbers.
So it's no surprise my translation is a little different.
I believe one year can change a life... forever.
It's what you do in that one year...
It's how you spend those 365 days, 52 weeks, & 8,765 hours...
I spent my last year loving the most incredible person I know...My best friend, my Ryan. 


If you haven't already figured it out, it's mine and Ryan's one year anniversary today :) 


{ Leave it to me to be all sentimental...But I simply can't help myself}

One might wonder If i've fallen into a deep trap of loneliness on this day (being unable to spend it with him) or gone completely bonkers...


I assure you have nothing to worry about...I was bonkers before he left :)
All things aside, today has been fantastic. 
I feel his love all around me....every day & minute... mmm it's a good feeling. 

I decided to put my inner sentimentalist to good use. I spent last night & the wee hours in the morning to create and perfect my anniversary card for him. 


{although it may not appear to be the product of hours of work...I assure you it is.}


I'm a self proclaimed perfectionist and I always live up to my title...


 So of course this card is full of tiny details...


I sent it off today, sealed with a kiss...I hope he loves it! 


Well, it's off to bed for me :)

Meet Elder Bow-Wow

     Meet my fuzzy little friend, Elder Bow-Wow. As his name suggests, he prays a lot & loves wearing his missionary suit. I made him for Ryan's 19th birthday last year at the place where best friends are made, Build-a-Bear. I get the companionship of this little guy for a couple years while Ryan is on his mission. This dog's mission is to keep me company... Although its not as noble as teaching the gospel, it's definitely a full-time job. I wonder if the people of Guatemala know how lucky they are??? If not they will soon. Ryan is in the MTC for another month and then he enters the field...I hope it's white & ready to harvest. I am so proud of him and every other young man serving a mission. They are working as the "savior's hands" and are his angels. 
     Well it's another beautiful day here in Provo, Utah... The view from Ryan's window is sure to very different from mine but we still have one thing in common.. We are both surrounded by our Heavenly Father's beauty.
     What a great day to be alive & well! :) Happy Sunday to ya'll.
